Rasmussen Poll: Burr Takes Bigger Lead

According to a poll released today by Rasmussen Reports, incumbent U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) has expanded his lead over two of his potential Democrat opponents.  According to the poll:

• Burr leads Secretary of State Elaine Marshall 50% to 34%, with 12% undecided and 4% preferring some other candidate.  Last month, Burr led Marshall 47%-37%.
• Burr leads former state Senator Cal Cunningham 51% to 29%, with 14% undecided and 6% preferring another candidate.   Last month he led Cunningham 50% to 34%.
• Against both Democrats, Burr leads among voters not affiliated with either major party by 20 or more points.
